  • Before Wednesday, July 17th, we recommend downloading or recording your account history, statements, recurring transfer schedules, Individual Retirement Account distribution information, peer-to-peer payments, payees,  and bill payment details as some of these items may not transfer over during the conversion. To request paper copies of your historical Berkshire Bank statements for current or closed accounts, you will need to contact Berkshire Bank directly.

  • On Monday, July 22nd, you can access your accounts through pathfinderbank.com by logging into online banking. Simply click the “Online Banking” link in the upper right corner and select the “Personal” drop-down option, and follow the first time login instructions available online at pathfinderbank.com/welcome.  You may resume using Bill Pay services in Pathfinder Bank Online Banking. We recommend verifying your bill payment information to ensure its accuracy.

Accounts and Account Numbers

  • Your Berkshire Bank accounts will automatically be converted to the Pathfinder Bank account that most closely resembles your existing account. Please see the conversion chart below.

  • In most cases, your account numbers will remain the same during and after the transition to Pathfinder Bank. If your current Berkshire Bank account number has 10 digits, it will stay the same. If it has fewer than 10 digits, zeros will be added to the beginning to make it 10 digits. For example, account number 12345678 will become 0012345678.

  • In the rare case of a duplicate number, a new account number will be assigned to you. You will be notified of any changes before July 19th, 2024.

  • For Certificates of Deposits (CDs) your maturity dates and current rates will be carried over for the remainder of their term. Upon maturity, your Berkshire Bank CD will automatically roll into the current rate of the product it was converted into, and renewal notices will be sent to you. These notices will provide detailed information about any new rate and/or term adjustments. If your current CD is an Individual Retirement Account (IRA), it will be linked to a Pathfinder Bank IRA plan.

  • If applicable, you will receive an amendment in the mail with details on your new IRA plan. This amendment does not affect the maturity date or terms of any of your IRA accounts and will not change the beneficiary designation on file.

  • Account History: Your Berkshire Bank transaction history and documents will not be available in Pathfinder Bank Online Banking. Starting July 22nd, 2024 we will begin retaining transaction history for your new Pathfinder Bank products.

  • Your Pathfinder Bank routing number is 221370894.

Loans

  • Rest assured, there will be no changes to any terms or conditions of your Berkshire Bank loans other than the terms directly related to the servicing of the loan. Your interest rate, outstanding principal balance, and other loan terms will remain unchanged.

  • You will soon receive a separately mailed servicing transfer notice outlining these changes including payment instructions and your new Pathfinder Bank loan account number.

  • Your statements will look different but will contain the same information you’re accustomed to.

During conversion weekend, all Berkshire Bank checking, savings and money market accounts will be matched with a similar account offered by Pathfinder Bank. The chart and links below, along with the corresponding product summary information and Truth In Savings Act (TISA) in the Account Disclosures booklet, serves as our Notice of Change In Terms, provided in advance to all account holders.

  • Some companies may require direct notification from you regarding any changes. We highly encourage you to notify those providers of the new routing number effective on and after July 22nd, 2024, to prevent any delays to these transactions.

  • Recurring payments, such as mobile phone bills, insurance premiums, utilities, subscription services, etc., that are set up on service providers’ websites must be updated with your new Pathfinder Bank Visa® Debit Card information on and after Saturday, July 20th, 2024, in order to avoid service interruption.

  • Your Pathfinder Bank routing number is 221370894.

Debit Cards

  • You will receive a new personal Pathfinder Bank Visa® Debit Card with a new card number, activation instructions, and disclosure in the beginning of July 2024. Your debit card limits may change depending on your card type or if you had custom limits set with Berkshire Bank. Please see the Account Disclosures Booklet for details on Pathfinder Bank’s limits. You are able to modify your limits by stopping into a branch or reaching out to our Contact Center. You may activate your card and choose your PIN, so it is ready to begin using Saturday, July 20th, 2024.

  • Continue to use your Berkshire Bank Debit Cards until 5pm on July 19th, 2024, after which they will be deactivated. Please do not attempt to use your new Pathfinder Bank Debit Card prior to Saturday, July 20th, 2024. Your Debit Card limits put in place by Berkshire Bank will remain the same on your Pathfinder Debit Card.

  • Due to the conversion process taking place over the weekend, use of your new card or access to ATMs could be limited or periodically interrupted. Please plan ahead and consider carrying alternative forms of payment during the conversion weekend.

  • After activation, you will want to update any recurring payments you have on your Berkshire Bank Debit Card to reflect your new Pathfinder Bank Debit Card.

  • With your new card, you can enjoy free access to over 55,000 surcharge-free ATMs to withdraw money worldwide with Allpoint1 network ATMs found in places you already shop like Target, CVS, and Walgreens. For more information on Allpoint network, visit allpointnetwork.com.

  • You may load your new Pathfinder Bank Debit Card into your Mobile Wallet on or after July 20th, 2024.

Checks

  • Checks for your existing Berkshire Bank account will be honored for a period of time after the transition, however, it is recommended to discontinue use of Berkshire Bank checks as of July 19th, 2024, and begin using Pathfinder Bank checks as soon as you receive them.

  • Customers with personal checking accounts will be eligible for a free box of checks the first time they order from our check-ordering partner, Deluxe. A letter with a promo code for your first set of free checks will be mailed to you in the coming weeks.

  • Your new Pathfinder Bank routing number is 221370894.

Please note that if you use any international, non-Allpoint, or non-Pathfinder Bank ATMs, a $2.00 ATM fee per withdrawal will apply, in addition to any fees charged by the third-party ATM provider.

* Your HSA checking account will be changing to a savings account type. Checks will no longer be available with this account. Please see above for information on your new debit card.

Depending on your account, your interest rate may change. Please visit
pathfinderbank.com/rates for current rates. Rates are subject to change at any time.
